NMEA Facebook Discussion Group Invitation
The first few years of teaching music can be exciting, challenging, exhausting and frustrating. NMEA wants to provide a resource to get you through the rough spots as we have all experienced those emotions.

My name is Bill Roehrs. I am a recently retired music teacher living in Lincoln. I have taught Band, Orchestra and Chorus for more years than I want to admit. I was asked by the Nebraska Music Educators Association Executive Board (NMEA) to offer a Mentor program for young music teachers. We have started a Facebook “Discussion Group” addressing questions and concerns of younger teachers.

How to Join the NMEA Music Educators Discussion Group

1. Start a Facebook account if you don't already have one
2. Search NMEA Music Teachers Discussion Group
3. Request to be a member
4. That’s it. We will accept you when that is done
If for some reason this does not work, request to be my "Friend." Once that is complete, I will add you to the Discussion Group.

You need to know that what you are teaching is important and is valued!
