NMEA and ESU (Educational Service Units) work together to offer staff development sessions across Nebraska. Successful Nebraska music educators serve as clinicians and topics are developed with input from the individual sites.
ESU provides the organization of the Staff Development Day, facilities, mileage, lodging and meals. NMEA provides the music eucator clinicians, a stipend to each clinician (not to exceed $500 per session). The NMEA Immediate Past-President selects the clinicians for the clinic and hourly sessions or day-long sessions may be held, with sessions usually totaling 6-7 hours.
