NMEA Corporate Sponsor Projects
Nebraska Music Educators Association wants to say thank you to the Corporate Sponsors for their willingness to support staff development classes for music teachers across the state. How does your money impact Nebraska Music Teachers and Students?
- NMEA and ESU (Educational Service Units) work together to offer staff development sessions across Nebraska. Successful Nebraska music teachers serve as clinicians. Topics are developed by the individual sites. Costs are shared for these Sessions.
- ESU provides the organization of the Staff Development Day, facilities, mileage, lodging, meals.
- NMEA provides the active music teacher clinicians, a stipend to each clinician not to exceed $500 per Session. The NMEA Immediate Past-President selects the clinicians for the Clinic depending on location and topics requested.
- All day sessions are held, usually lasting 6-7 hours.
