High School HALL OF FAME

 

Several schools have developed their own music Hall of Fame by recognizing everyone that has been in any of the NMEA All-State ensembles from the advent of the first All-State Band in 1936 to the present.  This has been accomplished by coming to Hastings and extracting the names from the program file.  (This comprises reviewing approximately 70,000 names.)

 

A file box has been assembled containing all the programs.  For those wishing to develop a Hall Of Fame, this file can be checked out from the NMEA Archives, allowing you to review the names at your leisure, and hopefully involving your students in the process.

 

The file box will be checked out on a first-come, first-served basis.  There will be a “pecking order” with the programs being circulated in the order in which the requests are received.  If there are numerous requests, a time-line will be assigned to be fair to everyone.
