Allen Barnard was inducted into the Nebraska Music Educators Association Hall of Fame in 1992. Mr. Barnard began his career at Bellevue H.S. which became Bellevue East H.S., and taught in these two schools throughout his career.
Leo A. Kelly was inducted into the Nebraska Music Educators Association Hall of Fame in 1992. His first teaching job was as Director of the Boys State Industrial School Band in Kearney, NÉ. Leo Kelly arrived at McCook in 1921 and organized the first Public School Band and Orchestra in McCook. After 15 years the Orchestra was dissolved as no string teacher was available and there was a general lack of interest.
William L. Kelly was inducted into the Nebraska Music Educators Association Hall of Fame in 1992. Mr. Kelly was and Army Band Director from 1941-1945. His first teaching position was with the Milford Public Schools (1947-1948). He left that position in 1948 to become Band Director and Music Supervisor in the McCook Public Schools. He left McCook to become Director of Bands at Western State College in Gunnison, CO and then move on from there to the University of Kansas where he held a variety of positions.
