Dr. Alfred Blinde was inducted into the Nebraska Music Educators Hall of Fame in 1989. He taught at Imperial, Tecumseh, Alliance and Chadron State College. He was amongst the first to set popular music to choreography for a Swing/Show Choir effect. Dr. Blinde served as Choral Chair and wrote the “Choral Reviews” for the magazine for 20 years.
Dr. Leonard Paulson was inducted into the Nebraska Music Educators Association Hall of Fame in 1989. Dr. Paulson taught at Deshler, Red Cloud, Wayne, Peru State, NWU (20 years) and Chadron State (20 years).
Jack R. Snider was inducted into the Nebraska Music Educators Association Hall of Fame in 1989. Mr. Snider taught at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for 36 years after a short period in the public schools. He taught a total of 39 year before retiring in 1986. He has served as Chair of Band Affairs. Jack contributed time to help develop the Pershing Marching Festival, and the UNL Summer All-State Fine Arts Program. The NSBA names its annual Young Bandmaster Award in honor of Jack R. Snider
Paul R. Swanson was inducted into the Nebraska Music Educators Association Hall of Fame in 1989. Paul taught in Grand Island, NE, Scottsbluff, NE, Minot SD State College, and USD Springfield before assuming the role as Chairman, Fine Arts Division at NWU in 1976. He is a Past-President of the Nebraska Choral Directors Association.
