Capitol Hill visited were made by NMEA Executive Board Members in June 2009.

NMEA Executive Board members: traveled to Washington DC in February 2007 to attend the MENC North Central Advocacy Training and North Central Meeting. After the Advocacy Meeting, the board members visited Capitol Hill visiting Nebraska's Legislators - Senators Nelson and Hagel and Representatives Smith, Terry and Fortenberry.
