Nebraska Music Educators Association is a federated state association of the NAfME the National Association for Music Education, a voluntary, nonprofit organization representing all phases of music education in schools, colleges, universities, and teacher-education institutions. Active NAfME/NMEA membership is open to all persons engaged in music teaching or other music educational work. Currently NMEA has approximately 800 Active; 400 Collegiate; and 400 Tri-M members.
