Our Conference will generate the interest and attendance of over 700 high school students who participate in the All-State Band, Choir, Orchestra, or Jazz Band.  Over the past several years, our attendance numbers have been very consistent. The 2016 NMEA Conference saw a total of over 1,400 NMEA members registered – along with over 300 NAfME college students and over 200 Tri-M students. The total registered attendance for 2016 included over 2,500 participants! NMEA remains proud that approximately 80% of Nebraska’s music educators are registered for our annual conference!

NMEA’s Conference/Clinic includes a wide variety of activities.  Among those are in-service workshops, clinic groups, concerts, meetings, and – of course – exhibits.  The exhibit venue provides NMEA members various resource information including materials, equipment, instruments, student travel, and fundraising ideas. NMEA Expo exhibits give our music educators the opportunity within the school year to view YOUR information.

It is important to know that exhibit set-up will start no later than 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 16th - with all exhibits “in place & ready to go” by 2:45 p.m.  TENTATIVE exhibit venue hours are as follows: Thursday from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m., Friday from 9:00 a.m. - Noon and from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. (exhibits are closed over the lunch hour to give our exhibitors a chance to relax and recharge...lunch is "on your own") and Saturday morning from 9 a.m. - noon. Exhibit tear-down will occur Saturday, from noon - 2:00 p.m. EXACT hours will be verified in the exhibitor information communication you will receive in early November 2017.

The following timetable of application procedures has been established:

  1. Registration and contract completed on or before September 1st.
  2. Contracts completed after September 1st might not be listed in the official program.
  3. Early November 2017:  Final exhibitor information communication will be sent to all exhibitors.

Exhibiting with NMEA is a sound marketing move.  The audience is large, diverse, and in need of your services.  We look forward to working with you during the 2017 NMEA Conference/Clinic and Expo in Lincoln!
